These bearings are the best! Fairly easy to install and they totally stopped the death wobble in my Lectric XPeak bike!

Cane Creek needs to add a disclaimer that this head set should not be used on any type of mountain or gravel bike including e-mountain bikes. The headset cannot handle any form of off-roading, bumps, jostling or abuse as the viscous disk sets will begin to collapse/breakdown leading to the headset coming loose, which is dangerous.

When I spoke with CC directly about this issue, the answer was sorry, but you should've known better as the description listed below infers the headset is only intended for road use, really? My LBS missed this in the description also. Hopefully CC will do the right thing and update their description so other people don't suffer the same fate I did. There is nothing like setting $200 on fire between the headset plus labor to install and remove. Unless you're strictly riding road/commuting, do not buy/avoid at all cost, even then I have serious concerns about the longevity and safety of this headset. Great idea but poorly executed.
