The DBcoil [IL] is the first ever twin-tube inline shock that packs in all of the function of a piggyback coil shock in a lighter (*333g difference) and sleeker package. Cane Creek Double Barrel Clevis Mount Approved

As of June 17, 2019, COIL IL is now compatible with ALL 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper and Turbo Levo models. Your shock must have this sticker (to the left) on the end-eye to be compatible. If it does not, use of the COIL IL on your 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper or Turbo Levo model will void our manufacturer’s warranty. If you have questions associated with COIL IL fitment, when your shock was built, or if it is potentially missing the sticker, we can check it against our serial number database. Please contact us at service@canecreek.com


All shocks are built to order by hand in our facility in North Carolina, USA. The average lead time for a shock to be built and shipped is 3-5 business days.  Depending on demand and parts availability, lead times can vary. If you have any questions about the status of your shock, our Cane Creek customer service team would be happy to give you further details about your shock’s lead time.

A spring is required for this shock. If you have your own, select "I already have a spring", otherwise you can calculate the correct spring and it will be added to your cart along with your shock.

Exclusive Twin Tube Technology circulates oil continuously through the damping valving to achieve highly controllable, independent damping for both compression and rebound strokes. This unique design moves oil through externally adjustable valving instead of the main piston, allowing for superior tunability and eliminating the need for internal valving changes to achieve proper shock setup.  


CS is the most innovative climbing feature available.
