general Warranty Information

We have been standing behind our products since our company was established over 50 years ago here in North Carolina, first as Dia-Compe, then as Cane Creek Cycling Components. While no product is perfect, it is very important to us to uphold our hard-earned reputation for quality and reliability. In the event that you experience a problem with a Cane Creek product due to a suspected defect in materials or workmanship, please contact us or our representative in your country promptly. If Cane Creek determines that the reported problem was in fact caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the affected product will be repaired or replaced, by a comparable model, at Cane Creek’s sole discretion. The product warranty applies only to the original owner.

Suspension components require regular service. For all information concerning the service of suspension components visit this page.

What Constitues A Warranty?

Warranties are a promise that the item you've purchased was made and assembled correctly, and that the materials and parts were free from defects. They do not cover incorrect or forceful installation, everyday wear-and-tear, neglect from routine service, use beyond what was intended for the product (mountain biking with lightweight road or gravel components), or products that have been modified by the user in any way.

Suspension components require regular maintenance every 50-100+ hours, depending on the product. If your Cane Creek suspension is not performing as you think it should and you have exceeded this service interval, it's likely that your fork/shock just needs a service, and does not require a warranty claim.

Life Time Guarantee : 110 Products

We offer a 100% Lifetime Guarantee on all 110 headsets and bottom brackets – including bearings – purchased after August 28, 2019. Without conditions, we will replace parts if you are not satisfied. This is bold and uncommon, especially for high-wear parts, and goes far beyond what even comparable 'lifetime warranties' cover. If you rode your 110 bottom bracket for seven years and put 1,000,000 miles on it and then decided it did not meet your expectations, Cane Creek will replace it. There is no fine print or special conditions. You are either satisfied or not.

We are proud to be the only company in the bicycle industry that offers a satisfaction guarantee for headset or bottom bracket bearings.

Crash Replacement

If your Cane Creek Cycling product is damaged in a crash or accident within the product warranty period, Cane Creek may offer a discounted replacement to the original purchaser. Please fill out the Product Support Form detailing the events that occurred, and your case will be reviewed. If deemed eligible, you will be contacted with pricing for the same or comparable product. The Original product will need to be returned to Cane Creek, original owner will be responsible for shipping charges on return and replacement product.

Limited Edition Finish

Paint and anodized finishes on limited cranks is expected to chip/scratch/fade with use and time. These types of surface blemishes are not covered under warranty. For cranks that receive heavy use or are subject to adverse conditions, we recommend our standard (completely re-finishable) brushed titanium finish.
