    Tigon 230x60

I've been using air shock's for years and never wanted to switch to a coil purely for the lack of bottom out resistance and progression. After talking to Cane Creek about the Tigon I was sold. The team was super helpful with the ordering process and helping me find the perfect setup for the shock. Now after riding a few times on the shock I can confidently say that I would never get anything else.

Put this on my levo. You should too

The levo leverage curve is not progressive so you need an air can to get that feel. The shaft on standard coils are also prone to bending with the trunnion mount but this has a lot more shaft to deal with those loads. Bike has never felt better.

Tigon is the world’s only air-charged coil shock that combines what's good about air and coil, giving you two setups in one. From steep and rocky backcountry trails one day, to bike park jumps the next, Tigon offers the benefits of each shock type so you can have one bike that does it all. It tracks the ground and grips like a coil, but still allows you to boost jumps and take large impacts without harsh bottom outs.

Highlights:

  • Optimized for bikes with 130 – 160mm rear travel.
  • Great for trail and enduro riders that prioritize bold, playful riding across a range of different trail types
  • The only shock offering true coil sensitivity with progressive air support.
  • Simply remove air for a more plush, ground-hugging feel or add air for big hit support.
  • Significantly increased strength compared to standard coil shock – great for bikes using a clevis (yoke) to drive the shock.

Tigon Promo

FROM ROCK GARDENS TO HARD-PACKED JUMP LINES

Tigon combines the ground tracking sensitivity of a coil shock with the mid-stroke and bottom out support of an air shock. Cane Creek’s Engineering team produced the world’s first DB Twin Tube shock that defies traditional shock categories.

The air-charged RAMP Tube on Tigon allows riders to make quick, easy adjustments to increase liveliness, add support, or conversely, improve the plushness of their ride.

RAMP TUBE TECHNOLOGY

WANT MORE SUPPORT? JUST ADD AIR!

Using a basic shock pump, riders can now tune the support of their coil shock by adding pressure to the RAMP Tube. This added air chamber increases the progression of the shock and gives all the mid-stroke and bottom out support that you may want. RAMP Tube makes Tigon capable of providing 20-35% more progression than a typical coil shock. (30psi max)

SUPREME GRIP

WANT MORE SENSITIVITY? TIGON DELIVERS.

The supreme sensitivity of coil is always present, providing the most active suspension possible – no matter the air pressure. If desired, riders can remove air from the RAMP Tube to turn Tigon into a more linear, traditional coil shock to amplify its ground-tracking ability. Encountering steep, technical, and slippery trails? Simply remove the air from the RAMP Tube for a shock setup that stays more planted to the ground.

STRENGTH AND RELIABILITY

BUILT TO LAST

Tigon expands the usable market for coil by providing a more resilient solution for clevis and trunnion mount frames.

The bracing provided by RAMP Tube, paired with an oversized damper shaft relocated to the middle of the shock, adds a significant amount of lateral strength.

“…there’s no other shock on the market that can claim all of the Tigon's selling points. Most importantly, the Tigon is strong enough to withstand clevis shock mounts. Simply put, it's supple, strong, consistent, and resists bottoming.”
