    110 Ceramic - 30th Anniversary

110 is better than the competition headset.

My 110 headset is 12 years old, and never has it had any problems. Cane Creek 110 sports longer “skirts” on its cups and double-layer seals around each bearing cup, boosting protection against water and grit ingress. By contrast, the King leans into a classic, minimalist look with single-layer seals which offer less protection. If you’re running a carbon fork and want to minimize stress concentrations, or scoring at the headset interface, the 110’s compression-ring architecture gives your steerer a larger, more even bearing surface, something King’s design doesn’t offer. That is why I chose the 110 over any other headset for my 2013 Lynskey with an Enve 2.0 fork.

Interlok® Spacer Compatible

Like all Cane Creek headsets, 110 Ceramic is compatible with Interlok spacers for precise and secure adjustment. Interlok spacers are made of machined aluminum and link together, nesting neatly into a groove machined into the headset top cover. This precise, interlocking fit ensures that headset preload is evenly distributed and can help reduce headset noise. These machined spacers are also 25% lighter than traditional alloy spacers. Special 110 Ceramic spacers included.

Hellbender Ceramic Bearings

  • The smoothest bearings we make.
  • Silicon Nitride ceramic balls are harder than steel and will not corrode.
  • 440c stainless steel races
  • Marine-grade waterproof grease

The Absolute Best

  • Angular design with dual-stage anodized machine cuts on top cover and cups
  • Hellbender Ceramic bearings
  • 7075 T-6 aluminum cups and cover with high polish finish.
  • Upper headset bearing protected by two layers of seals within the top cover.
  • Lower bearing protected by dual-stage rubber lip seal co-molded onto crown race.
  • Matching top cap and Interlok spacers included.

Cane Creek Headsets

A Legacy of Innovation

In 1992, we brought the Aheadset®, the original threadless headset, to market – kicking off a major change in the way bicycle frames and forks would be developed going forward.

The original design of that revolutionary headset is still found in almost all bikes on the market today.
