No, Invert Enduro comes with an air spring only. It’s a very adjustable air spring that can be setup to feel super plush and linear if you prefer that feeling. In its most linear setting, it is quite easy to use full travel, even for lighter weight riders.

Invert Enduro uses a closed-cartridge, monotube damper with a bladder. It’s the second generation Cane Creek fork damper and the same one used in Helm MKII. This damper has an extremely reliable design, is easy to adjust, and provides a meaningful range of adjustment to suit the vast majority of riders and bike types.

Independent high and low speed compression, with a single low speed rebound adjuster. The high-speed rebound is pre-set and managed internally by a shim stack on the rebound piston. Each damper adjuster features 10 clicks and a wide, discernable range of adjustment.

Progression for Invert Enduro is adjusted using a fully onboard volume adjustment system. It consists of a shaft and piston that live directly underneath the air valve. To change the progressivity of the fork, simply unthread the bottom cap on air leg using a 13mm socket and adjust the position of the volume adjustment piston by hand. No. The Axle-to-Crown (fork height) of Invert Enduro is 586mm in the 170mm travel version. Simply add or subtract 10mm to determine ATC for the 160mm and 180mm forks. This ATC is nearly identical to other mainstream options in this travel range, so Invert Enduro will not have any discernable effect on the fit or handling of your bike.

Routine splash oil changes (typical ‘lowers service’) can easily be done in a matter of minutes at home. This procedure does not require special tools beyond a 13mm and 18mm socket to remove the fork legs from the upper.

Changing travel requires a different length air spring assembly. These will be available for purchase through Cane Creek dealers and service centers if you need to change the travel of the fork. This procedure requires disassembly.

No. Any modern, 110mm boost thru-axle hub will fit and perform optimally with the fork. There are no additional fit requirements or hub design criteria that we specify for use with Invert Enduro. Thanks to the SquareLoc dual axle compatibility, Invert Enduro is compatible with both 15x110 boost and 20x110 boost front hubs.

Most likely, no. Invert Enduro uses a 1 1/8” - 1.5” steerer tube which is the common industry standard for modern mountain bike suspension forks. It should work with 99% of the headsets in modern mountain bikes.

Invert Enduro is strictly designed to be used with 29” wheels. While you could mount a 27.5” wheel in the fork with no apparent issues, it will lower the front end of the bike considerably and would likely negatively impact the handling. For example, this would steepen the headtube angle and lower the bottom bracket, making the bike less stable at speed and more likely to have issues with pedal strikes.

There is room to safely clear a 29x2.6” tire on a 30mm internal width rim.

Yes. Beyond the primary reason of protecting the stanchions from damage, the guards are required to safely manage the brake hose as the fork travels so that it does not get caught in the spokes.

Invert Enduro is recommended to be set up with 25% sag. Riders are welcome to use more or less than this, but 25% is our recommended starting point. There are sag marks on the drive side guard that indicate this position for each fork travel. (160, 170, 180)

No. Invert Enduro uses a charge port style air spring that automatically equalizes the positive and negative chambers just by compressing the fork several times.

These ‘bleeder’ screws are to designed to allow the rider to remove any excess air pressure that gets trapped in the fork uppers during use. This can happen during hard compressions, large temperature swings, or large changes in elevation such as when traveling to new regions. By removing any trapped air, you will maintain the smoothest possible operation of the fork and maintain your ability to use full travel. For best performance, remove and reinstall the bleed screws often. Once every several weeks is sufficient for most riders.

Invert Enduro is a direct, post mount for 200mm. If you use 200mm or 203mm front rotor, you do not need any adapters and the brake caliper will bolt directly to the fork. You can also use a 220mm rotor with a +20mm post mount adapter.
