You almost can't tell it's a suspension fork. This thing simply works and you don't even notice. A no-brainer for big gravel days or bikepacking.

I expected the eeSilk+ to basically take the edge of of chatter but it is more effective that that. On my first ride I sought out some rugged, rocky terrain to test it out and I was impressed. I was able to descend rough terrain trail faster and more comfortably that before. I'm glad I bought it.

I put a carbon eeSilk on my new Trek FX + 1S e-bike along with a slightly wider than stock Trek gel saddle. Very, very happy with the combo; all the sharp edges of our "bombed-out" surface streets are smoothed over. Zero pedal bob or bounce. Did exactly what I hoped it would do.

Two criticisms: the seat mount mechanism is a bit fiddly and the front tightening "wheel" is difficult to get sufficiently tight by hand. If your seat has a cut-out, it is easy to access with an Allen key thru the cut-out. Additionally, the rear mounting screw works loose and needs occasional tightening...carry some tools.

Otherwise, an excellent product.
