Our newest limited edition brake - Mirror Image - is a mean black and crimson combination, with front and rear brakes that are color-flipped versions of each other. Known for their extraordinary stopping power, incredible adjustability, and striking design, eeBrakes are also half the weight of their competitors - truly setting them apart in the world of performance.

eeBrakes are assembled by hand in our facility just outside of Asheville, North Carolina.

Mirror Image brakes are sold as a set of 2 (front & rear) in both standard and Brompton-specific configurations. There will only be 150 sets made.

Cane Creek has released two limited edition eeBrakes per year since 2017, each in very small quantities. The brakes have become a favorite for custom builders and enthusiasts looking to add character, unrivaled craftsmanship, and stopping power to their bikes.
eeBrakeeeBrake Detail

Aerodynamic

Cross Cable Path aligns the brake cable over the center of the brake. This alignment provides a graceful, clean line and moves cables into the “wind shadow” of the frame, providing an aerodynamic advantage over traditional brakes with their cables and lever arms off to one side of the caliper.

Perfect Cable Alignment

The titanium eeBrake cable adjuster pivots as the brake is applied, optimizing cable alignment during brake actuation. Also, the cable housing extends to lower tip of the cable adjustment screw eliminating added friction. That means, as the brake lever is squeezed, you get even and friction-free braking power.

EASY PRECISION

TITANIUM LINK

The tool-less adjustability provides super precision and pad motion consistency through the patented Link pad travel proportioning system. No annoying pad rub and constant need to re-center. No more re-adjusting the main fixing bolt after initial installation or using spring tensioning screws to align the brake pads.
