The all-new 110 Ceramic bottom bracket comes as a lower cost replacement for the Hellbender 110. The cable-hiding HCR system is now offered in polished silver to go along with the recently released GXC seatpost. Lastly, two new colors, Smoke and Slate, are being added to the Chroma Studio collection.

Why Ceramic?

Bottom brackets face some of the highest demands of any bicycle bearing system. Silver HCR

Cane Creek is expanding the color options for their HCR stem and headset becoming the first to offer hidden cable routing in polished silver. The HCR system hides the brake hoses from view without enclosing them in the stem or spacers for easier installation, maintenance, and travel. It allows riders to swap stem lengths or adjust spacer stack without separating hydraulic brake lines, lowering the cost of ownership for bikes with fully internal routing. With its aluminum spacers and fully sealed headset, HCR gives the clean look of internal cables without many of the downsides or cheap plastic parts often associated with it. When combined with the recently released silver GXC seatpost, riders can now build a thoroughly modern bike with a healthy dose of traditional silver flair.

Chroma Studio: Smoke & Slate

In keeping with their love of unique builds and personalized bikes, Cane Creek’s catalog of anodized color options grows with the addition of two more colors beyond plain silver, Smoke and Slate. Popular components like headsets, bottom brackets, and stem faceplates will be split up across the two colors, with a different selection of parts offered in each. Smoke is a light grey-bronze color meant to complement Cane Creek’s titanium cranks. Slate is a darker, blue-grey that adds richness and depth.
