Q & A

What makes a handlebar compatible or incompatible with these? Is it just the torque requirement? Both OneUp and PNW recommend against using them with their carbon bars. Thanks! Aaron asked on October 31, 2023

The diameter of the handlebar, or if the the handlebar is ovalized. The Ergo bar ends are designed for round, 31.8mm handlebar clamp.

What is the recommended angle for the Ergo Control Bar Ends? grant asked on August 15, 2023

Its user preference. We recommend adjusting the angle to whichever position is most comfortable and affords the most control.

The Ergo Control Bar Ends require a 18mm of handlebar on each side to fit correctly.

Are these compatible to install on carbon handlebars? What torque is required? Jared Proegler asked on July 3, 2023

Yes these are compatible with both handlebars made of alloy, carbon, Ti, etc. They require 6-9Nm of torque to fix in place so just make sure you carbon handlebar is rated for this. Most should be.

Are your bar ends compatible with ODI lock on grips? Thank you. David Stecher asked on June 16, 2023

They are not 100% compatible since ODI's bar plugs click into their lock on grip but the eeBarKeeps will fit most any handlebar and will stay in place with the ODI lock on grips. They will not click into place like ODI's but they will work.
