I’m right on the lower weight edge for the regular puck, so I thought I’d give the lighter one a try. I do weigh just a bit more than the max for this one, but there is a noticeable difference in spring. I’ll use this one for smoother paved rides.

My Thudbuster came with a medium LT elastomer which was pretty ok but still a little stiff for my 170 lbs and the rough asphalt streets my ride to work traverses. Tried the soft elastomer and it really smoothed out the ride. The ThudBuster is a great invention and the flexibility of tailoring the ride comfort to individual needs is fantastic.

My personal recommendation (or experience) with Elastomers is to use the softer if you fall into two categories (e.g. you are 65kg+- and you could choose extra soft or soft, choose extra soft)
