Lets talk about the ladies! Mrs. LeMond and Mrs. Andreau - wow - the girls are kickin' Lance to the curb.

My DBa has a soft spot for about the first 1/4" of the shock stroke then it firms up. Is this normal? Asking now I case it don't make it on at 2.

Hey there,
I am still curious about the whole low-speed/high-speed thing. Does it only come down to shaft speed (for the lack of a more appropriate term)?
If you compress the shock slowly all the way to the bottom is that still only controlled via low-speed compresion?
Do you have like a sketch that shows how this works (I have seen the video that explains the double barrel technology)? How does the oil velocity influence which valve it goes through?
Also: in terms of setting up the shock. You have this field guide which is a good idea, but I have a hard time comparing how the shock feels now compared to the previous setting as usually there's about at least 20min in between (either walking back up or taking the lift).
Thanks
S

Gyro315 Check out this link, shaft speed dictates the circuit used. http://canecreek.com/resources/products/suspension/double-barrel/db_oil_illustration.pdf

Lets talk about the manufacturing process behind the DBair and Coil!

Rambosilek,
Look at a 300lb spring as a good starting point. If you can achieve the proper sag with 1-3 turns of preload, you should be good on that spring rate.
