The ZeroStack design uses very low profile aluminum cups that "hide" down in the head tube of the bicycle's frame. The ZeroStack cups are compatible only with specifically machined head tubes and cannot be retrofitted to an existing bike with traditional headset cups. The ZS-6 uses stainless steel bearings as an upgrade over the ZS-2. For 2003 all 1-1/8" ZS headsets are compatable with Cane Creek Interlok spacers.
Construction: The ZeroStack headset's low-profile cups are CNC-machined aluminum. The ZS-2 utilizes bearing steel grade cartridge bearings. The ZS-6 steps up to stainless steel cartridge bearings for longer lasting durability.
