Veilleux and Keven Lacombe Take First Overall and Second in Stage Six of Tour of PA; Severe Weather Shuts Down Stage Six Not even a tornado warning and severe weather on the streets of downtown Pittsburgh voiding the final stage of the Tour of Pennsylvania yesterday could dampen the mood of Jonas Carney and the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast team. After a week that saw a KBS/M athlete on every podium of every stage, the team took the overall win as well as second place in the stage. When a tornado warning halted the stage for 20 minutes and several crashes on the rain-slicked brick surface of Grant Street both slowed the race and made conditions difficult, officials made the call that the stage would not count toward the overall Tour placings. David Veilleux, ahead by 12 seconds after Saturday's impressive stage five win took the overall with team mate Keven Lacombe coming in second on the discounted final stage. "Despite the weather conditions Sunday this is a tremendous win for our young guys," says performance director Jonas Carney. "They followed the team plan all week and sacrificed for each other in every stage. I couldn't be more proud of them." The KBS/Medifast team rides Cane Creek 110 IS headsets.
